Polyester Crepe or (Crape (from the Fr. crêpe) is used most often in wool, silk and synthetic fibers, like polyester.
Polyester crepe doesn't pill, shrink or fade, keeping it new-looking for a long period of time. It also dries easily and resists wrinkles.
Because of its fluid drape and a four-season fabric, polyester crepe is often used in formal wear, skirts, blouses and suits.

Suggested Care
Extend the life of your polyester crepe garments with professional dry-cleaning. If the care tag does not specify dry-clean only, wash your garment on the gentle cycle with cold water, then hang to dry.

Polyester is an extremely difficult type of fabric to dye, especially if the garment is 100% polyester. This is because polyester is a synthetic fabric made from petroleum, and due to the manufacturing process, it is essentially plastic. Therefore, polyester is hydrophobic and lacks ionic properties. Dyes that are made for use on cotton or wool will not work on PET (polyethylene terephthalate) and other forms of polyester.
Therefore, we cannot provide desired colors via Neelam Color Chart or Pantone in Poly based fabrics but the client can choose from those Poly based fabrics which we have already dyed and are available with us in various colors (dyed with a class of dyes known as disperse dye ). Disperse dye is only slightly soluble in water, and works best on polyester.
